Correction Policy
Param Express – Correction Policy
At Param Express (referred to hereafter as “Param Express” / “we” / “our”), we hold ourselves accountable to our readers. This Correction Policy outlines the actions we take when any incorrect or misleading information is published on our website. Our responsibility is to correct inaccuracies as quickly and transparently as possible.
Core Principle
We strive to publish news based on the most accurate and verified information available to us at the time. However, if any error or mistake is identified—whether by our team or by the public—we make it our priority to correct it immediately. We update the content on our website, issue clarifications on our social media platforms, and when needed, publish an Editor’s Note explaining the nature of the mistake and how it was fixed. If the mistake is serious and misleading, we issue a public apology to our readers.
Updating Reports
Whenever we correct or update a news report, we include a clear note within the article to inform our readers. For significant corrections or updates, we include a bold message at the top such as:
[Correction: updated information]
We also clarify what change was made. Readers can also suggest corrections by emailing us at paramnewshub@gmail.com. A correction suggestion option is provided below every news article.
Corrections
If we make a substantial correction to any article, image caption, headline, graphic, video, or any form of content, we publish a correction notice explaining why the change was necessary and what was corrected.
Clarifications
If the reporting is factually correct but the language or context is unclear, we update the article to make it clearer. If any reader reaction or comment was initially omitted but later added for context, we mention this as a clarification in the content.
Editor’s Notes
If a correction significantly affects the understanding of the story or involves an ethical concern, we include an Editor’s Note to explain the situation. This note is reviewed and approved by a senior editor before publication.
Other Correction Practices
If a reader highlights an error in the comments section, our editorial team will acknowledge and address it publicly there. We also make corrections or remove content from social media if it is found to be inaccurate. However, we do not blame individual reporters or editors for unintentional mistakes.
Reporting Errors
If you spot an error in any article, please use the “Suggest A Correction” button under the post or email us directly at paramnewshub@gmail.com with the details of the mistake.
Take-down Requests
As a policy, we generally do not accept take-down requests. If the accuracy of a published report is questioned, we investigate the matter and, if needed, issue a correction or follow-up report. We update existing articles rather than remove them entirely.
In cases involving personally identifiable public information, we only consider take-down requests if there is a legitimate threat to the individual’s physical safety.
